New Chaos Audio App 🔥 - Faster, smarter, and future ready

Quick story for you.

A legendary touring guitarist recently picked up a Stratus, preordered a Nimbus, and told me Daily Driver was the best overdrive tone he had ever used on a pedal.

Then he shared a few ideas that would make his Chaos Audio rig faster and smoother. We loved them, so we rolled a bunch of them into our latest app update.

This update is available now on Android and iOS. Here is what’s new!

FASTER, SMARTER CONNECTION
Open the app and you are in. If only one Chaos Audio device is nearby, it connects automatically. If two or more devices are nearby, you get a quick picker so you can jump straight into the right rig.

AUTO RECONNECT THAT FEELS LIKE MAGIC
Walk out of range, come back, and the app grabs your device again. No extra taps, just keep playing.

LIVE CPU WARNING ON PEDALBOARD
Your device now sends live CPU status to the app. If your chain is getting heavy, you will see a clear warning on the Pedalboard so you can adjust things before audio performance is affected.

FEWER LOGOUTS, FASTER ACCESS
We reduced account timeouts so you stay signed in much longer. Less friction, more playing.

PEDALBOARD FRONT AND CENTER
When you open the app, you now land directly on Pedalboard with your live chain ready to tweak. To quote Buck, “[the app] should feel like you’re just reaching for a knob.”

FUTURE-READY UNDER THE HOOD
We rebuilt the app on a new foundation that lets us ship features and improvements to Stratus, Nimbus, and future Chaos Audio gear much faster. (This part actually took over 4 months!)
